Our base for the wedding and weekend is in Javea, about 40 minutes’ drive from Casa Benigalip, and we’d recommend staying here. We’ll take care of getting you to and from the venue on Sunday, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
Flights
Ryanair, Jet2 and Easyjet all fly from Glasgow, Prestwick and Edinburgh airports to Alicante and Valencia.
Alicante (ALC): Alicante is the nearest airport to Javea about 100km away or 1h20m drive. Here you can either rent a car or jump on the Beniconnect bus which is super easy.
Valencia (VLC): Valencia is slightly further away than Alicante airport (119km and about 1h30m) but tends to have more incoming flights.
If you let us know your travel plans, we can tell you if others are due in at the same time as you in case you’re able to share transfers or travel together.
Beniconnect offers a range of transfers from both Alicante and Valencia to Javea and surrounding towns
Where to stay
Javea is a holiday town so there are heaps of villa and apartment rentals. Check out Airbnb and Booking.com, but it’s also worth having a look on Google as there are lots of independent rentals e.g. The Stay Residences and Holiday Lettings.
We would recommend staying around the Avenida del Mediterráneo which is the long coastline that runs between the Arenal and the Port.
